Men and Women, Civilian and Military work together to locate and return the 88,000 Americans classified as POW or MIA. >"The nation which forgets its defenders will itself be forgotten" President Calvin Coolidge. The United States has not forgotten the tens of thousands of Americans who never returned home from our nation's past wars. Each year the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) recovers, identifies, and returns the remains of nearly one hundred Americans to their loved ones. JPAC is the embodiment of the promise America makes to all men and women sent into harms way to defend our nation. This is the story of the commitment to these American heroes and to the families waiting for their return.
