This man represents what is considered the greatest generation so unlike the "entitled&quot; one we have and are responsible for creating. This video should be viewed in every classroom to remind what we have today was paid for in the blood of white, black, yellow, and brown skinned Americans. Will today's generation step up should the need arise to protect what we have, be it in blood or at the polls? How many even bother to educate themselves to better understand what is at stake.

THIS IS WHAT AMERICA USED TO BE ABOUT. THIS IS THE AMERICA I SERVED IN THE U S NAVY FOR 33 ACTIVE AND RESERVE YEARS. THIS IS NOT THE AMERICA TODAY. I CRINGE EVERY TIME I HEAR SOMEONE SAY HOW LUCKY THEY WERE THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO SERVE IN THE MILITARY. I FOUND IT AN HONOR AND AM PROUD I SERVED.

As a Jewish war veteran of WWII I'm proud of my fellow soldier. Right after the Battle of the Bulge ended my outfit liberated a small concentration camp and there were no people left alive. I'll will remember that scene forever. Tibor's sgt should have been court-martialed. I'm proud we have people like Tibor here on this earth. Shalom my countryman. Sel in Houston,Tx

Thank you, Mr. Rubin, for all you have done and for the wonderful example you give to all human beings. You are an inspiration for the ages. Your attitude, actions, and humility transcend all nationalities. Although you say you did not want to be a hero, you certainly became one and I am so sorry that it took 55 years for you to receive the recognition that you deserve. May God bless you throughout this life and throughout eternity.

THIS IS WHAT GREATNESS IS....UNSELFISH, HUMBLE, CARING GREATNESS...AND TO THINK OF THE ANTI SEMITISM HE FACED FROM HIS COMRADES ILLUSTRATES THE OTHER SIDE OF WHAT GREATNESS. IN THIS CASE TRUE GREATNESS SCORES BIG.....I'M SPEECHLESS....MAY G_D BLESS HIM.

God bless you Sir Rubin. Thank God there are great Americans like you. I was not born in the US mainland. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I too met many wonderful people from the mainland while I served in the military. I completed my tour of duty in the 101st Airborne division. I am Proud to be an american from that beautiful island, but I also have to say that in my time I met fellow soldiers with the same racial prejudices as your sargeant to the extent that oftentimes I asked myself what I was doing there. In the end my love for America prevailed, yet I feel sorrow that racism is still alive and kicking in this wonderful country of ours. God bless you Sir Rubin

Everyone in America should view this video. A very humble man, who had gone throught so much in a concentration camp, then to vow to become an American soldier once freed from there, to face prejudice once more as a soldier..fight through over whelming odds, and yet, still keep the love for this country in his heart and mind. Help his fellow Army buddies to pull through and not give up. He deserved the Metal of Honor many years earlier! God Bless him! My Son is now in the Army and in S. Korea! I am sending this one to my Son!
