James Fleming was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions over Campbodia in November of 1968. Since their inception into the military arsenal helicopter pilots have proven invaluable in every capacity from infiltation to heavy lifting. Often tasked to fly behind enemy lines and well within range of everything the enemy had they performed acts of gallantry on a daily basis. James Fleming was the pilot for a special forces team inserted behind enemy lines in Campbodia and was alerted to exfiltrate that same team after contacting enemy troops. During the height of the engagement Fleming was able to evacuate the entire team under intense enemy fire.
